Bay Area Lyme Disease Resources

Do you or a loved one have Lyme disease?

If so, this site is for you.

It offers descriptions and links to my A-Team of holistic healthcare practitioners and to integrative healing resources, like support groups and meditations, that helped me to heal from Lyme Disease, or "LD", as it's often called. Even if you do not live in California's Bay Area, this site has links to national support groups, global LD experts, as well as to meditations and other resources that can support your healing process.

These resources are the fruit of three and a half years of intensive research, expensive trial and error, disappointments, joy, and successes. They're here to help you to heal, because you CAN heal

What can you learn here?

This site provides an annotated list of my personal A-Team of California Bay Area LD holistic health care practioners, other health resources like LD support groups and guided meditations .

How can this site help you?

It can free up hours of life for creativity and fun, lessen your anxiety and stress, increase your sense of calm and joy.

In February 2012, when I was first diagnosed with LD, I spun out. I spent hours and hours online reading everything there was about LD and co-infections. It left me feeling powerless and miserable. And, I physically felt sicker. My healing sped up and took hold when I finally consented to having LD, stopped researching solutions online, and turned my focus, deliberately and imperfectly, to all that was good and healthy in my life.

Please use these resources how you like and share them freely. With over 300K people contracting LD a year, we have the opportunity to come together to support each other to live healthy and long lives with LD.

Who created this site?

Cecilia. Bay Area resident and lover of people, strong coffee with coconut oil in it, and of Lyme disease. (Yes, for real.)

I've been healing for three and a half years (March 2012-December 2015) from LD. My health is strong. It got much stronger in 2015 after I chose to view LD as a teacher and started treating it like that. My life now looks ordinary -even though- my IGM test is still positive. I show up strongly in relationships, work fulltime and enjoy physical activities like dancing, hiking and yoga. Praises!

Please know, I am not a health care professional. The healthcare practitioners and resources provided on this site are not suggestions about paths of healthcare. If you believe you may have contracted Lyme disease, it is recommended that you seek professional medical care immediately for it from a Lyme-literate health care professional.

May your healing lead you to great health, trust and love.
